Millworks Novato, a substantial residential complex managed by Cushman & Wakefield, sought to modernize its brand identity. Recognizing the need for a contemporary and cohesive visual language, I was commissioned to revitalize their outdated logo.
My approach was rooted in the architectural essence of the building, resulting in a fresh and distinctive logo that resonated with the property's modern aesthetic. This project extended beyond a simple logo redesign, encompassing the development of a comprehensive move-in packet for new residents. In collaboration with the Property Manager and her team, I meticulously crafted detailed building maps for the mailroom, illustrating package delivery access and unit placement, complete with surrounding street layouts.
Additionally, I designed an area map of downtown Novato, highlighting local amenities such as transportation, dining, and shopping, enhancing resident convenience. The move-in packet was further enriched with a curated list of community events and city activities, along with clear instructions for utilizing the building's security systems. This involved a strategic reorganization of existing information and the integration of new content, resulting in a streamlined and user-friendly resource.
Complementing the move-in packet, I designed impactful secondary assets, including a large-scale informational banner for the building's exterior and clear, directional signage for the leasing office and communal areas. This comprehensive branding initiative provided a cohesive and professional experience for residents and visitors alike. The project's iterative design process, involving multiple rounds of revisions, allowed for a refined and client-aligned outcome, underscoring my commitment to delivering exceptional and tailored design solutions.
